This tutorial describes how to set Proxy settings for Maxthon Web Browser.

To configure Maxthon Browser to use a proxy server complete the following steps.

On the "Options" menu in Maxthon, click "Maxthon Options", click "proxy" from the menu on your left.

Click the "Green Plus Sign" and the "Proxy Server" settings box will load. In the "Proxy Name" box, type any name for the proxy server.

In the "Poxy Server" box, type the proxy server number that is used by the proxy server for connections. In the "Proxy Speed" drop down menu, select your speed preference.

To add a "proxy button" to the "Toolbar", click the "View" menu , select "Toolbars" and "Customize Toolbars". From the "Available Buttons" menu select "Proxy", click the "double arrows" in the middle to add, and click "OK".
