Easily Find Your Search Term
Often times, when you enter in a search term in a search engine, it will
take you to a web page that has tons of material on it and your search term
is no-where in sight. Instead of trying to skip-read over the content of the
page to identify your original search term, there is an easier way.
In either Internet Explorer or Firefox, you
can press the CTRL key + "F" keys on your keyboard at the same time. In
Internet Explorer this function will launch a separate "Find" window. In
Firefox this will open a toolbar at the bottom of your screen. Both search
features work great! Just enter the word(s) that you are looking for and
then press "Enter" on your keyboard. You will automatically be taken to the
first instance of the word on that page.
Alternately, if you are using the Google Toolbar, you can have Google
Toolbar highlight the search terms in the web page that you've opened. Using
this feature makes locating search terms simple. To activate this feature in
the Google Toolbar follow the steps below:
1. To the far right, locate the "Settings" button and then click it.
2. Click the "Options" button
3. Now, select the "More" tab.
4. Under the options title "Find on page", place a checkmark (by clicking in
the checkbox) next to the "Highlight" and "Word Find" options.
5. Click Apply, then OK to close the window
That's it! Now, when you open a web page and you would like to find your search terms, you'll be able to find them quickly and easily. Just click the double arrow located at the right side of the Google Toolbar (See figure #1).

A small menu will open that contains your keywords used for your original search. Click a word and you will automatically be transported to the first instance of that word on that page. Or, click the "Highlight" option in the same menu and it will highlight all of the keywords on that page.
